The picture seems to show Windows. Did you just not document that in your computer setup or are you running Windows virtualized or over a remote terminal?

Could not agree less... Saying we might as well adopt Universal; Obama will go after the non-payers...

All Rose-colored glasses stuff. Obama demands public (Gov't) Option because he like command and control type Government (capital G). Think Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, Moussilini all command and control advocates.

Utopians believe that we can live in greater peace and harmony if we live and share communally and aspire to "Great Society" type gauranteed income, equalized class societies. Trouble is they run short on additional revenues needed to feed house, clothe and insure the masses.
In the early years that can be attractive and seem to be working out...down the road is when the problems come in.

If you are saying we can do better than failed socialist economies because we are smarter, more innovative, learn frorm others mistakes, I say "no we don't"

Hi

I was looking for the ability to file share with my new Ubuntu 9.04 system from my laptop and I came across the information you have posted. I have to say that the information is just great and i have now implemented ALL of the software you have recomended , all without issue . I have also been using Linux for some time but have only just returned to it for development type purposes at home, at work I mainly work on Oracle related systems ( Oracle for over 20 Years now ).

I have just started to examine the MySQL database and I am still looking at its capabilities, I wonder if you have any experience of developing against the database ?
If you have any information on this or any good development links or addresses of developers I would be greatful to hear from you.

Please keep up this good work. :-)

Regards : Harry Buckley ( Manchester , England )

Memory management under linux can be viewed using the 'ps', 'top', and there is memory information under /proc also. PHP memory usage is available -- memory_get_usage() and java has tons of tools to analyze memory usage.

The question you asked is really the same for Windows or Linux.

I just found your webpage on internet.

I am having so tough time now..

The issue is my project about Linux....

I have no idea about Linux..

could u give me a some tips? if u can??

The project is about 'memory management of Linux'

Scenario is following..

You can see your Linux memory management(memory, process, cpu) on the webpage (localhost?? I don't know...)

and you can see your memory information graphically(java, PHP ?? I don't know.. :( ),

Those things are main problem about my project.

I think you're good at Linux,and programming..

If you give me some tips, I 'll really appreciate.

Thanks!.
