In -proposed I needed kernel 2.6.27-11 (I think the regular version is -9 right now) and then I needed the V4L package from Loïc Minier’s ppa: https://launchpad.net/~lool/+archive
It’ll be very nice to have my integrated webcam working again so I don’t have to boot back into Hardy as much.
..I don’t want to risk breaking anything though, so I’m just waiting for all updates to be official, I’ll get them when I get them.
I want my logitech quick cam #3560 to work with my Ubuntu that I have on my computer. It is an open source document system and my son said I would have fewer hacking and security problems with it. But I can’t get any of my CD’s to work that I had that I was using with windows XP and I cannot get this stupid webcam to work so I can visit with my daughter and her family and babies in California now. Can anyone help with instructions?
